Privacy notice
The calculators run in your browser and we never receive what you type into them. We only receive what you send through a form, and use it only to reply to you.
Calculator inputs
Everything you enter in a calculator is processed in your browser. Your numbers are copied into the page address (the query string) so you can share or bookmark a result; anyone you send that link to can see them. We do not store them.
Contact and pre-approval forms
When you submit a form we receive your name, email, optional phone number, message, the page you sent it from, basic technical context (browser, language, time zone, screen size, referring page and any campaign tags in the address) and, only if you tick the box, the calculator numbers you chose to include. It is sent through a MITEY network service hosted on Supabase and delivered by email (Resend) to the MITEY team's intake inbox. We use it to answer you and follow up on your request. We don't sell it, and we share it with a mortgage professional only if you ask us to.
Ask Mitey
"Ask Mitey" opens a chat window provided by Calculating.ca, the MITEY network's flagship, loaded from its own site. What you type there goes to Calculating.ca under its own privacy notice, and any enquiry you send through it reaches the MITEY network team with the page you were on. Calculator inputs on this site are not shared with it.
Saved scenarios
If you save a scenario, its name and numbers are stored in your own browser (local storage). They never reach us; clearing your browser data deletes them.
Hosting, fonts and logs
The site is hosted by Lovable with Cloudflare in front; they keep standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and reliability. Fonts load from Google Fonts. We don't run advertising trackers.

To see, correct or delete what you sent us, email hello@mitey.ca. You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
